Cracked tires??

So I was painting my stock rims this weekend...and I came across a small crack on one of my tires...I wasnt sure if it was safe or not to drive with these tires still so i just wanted to get some opinion as to what I should do...

Thanks in advanced!!

a crank will lead to a hole. i would replace it soon and especially that it is on the side wall!
