Drag radials for G35?

I'm looking into buying drag radials for the G and rims. I was thinkin some Welds but not sure what size. Can you guys help me out with rim and tire size? I'm trying to improve my 1/4 mile times.

Re: Drag radials for G35?

I had good luck with the BF Goodrich g-force T/A Drag Radials. I still have my stock rims so I bought some for the rears. 245/40/18. This was the closest they (tirerack) had to stock tire size.

If you are going to buy new rims, I would get something very lite in a 17" x 9.5".

btw, I knocked 0.3 secs off my best time with the drag tires. I have a 6mt and can now launch at about 4500 rpm.

Good Luck

Awsome thanks for the info. What about a smaller rim say 15x10 or 16x10?

If you are going 15x10 then you should try Mickey Thompson ET Street. I have these on my Chevelle. They are great huntin' tires.NItto also has a drag tire that works really well. I think its the 555 Drag but not sure of the name.
