Tire Plug
I know I am probably being paranoid but last night I saw something stuck in my tire and assuming it was a rock (dark outside) I tried to pry it out with my key. After a couple of tries I realized it was a tire plug from when I picked up a nail a couple of months back.
Could this have loosened the plug enough for it to come out or leak air? Don’t want my fiancée driving down the highway and loose a tire... Any thoughts? |
Tire plugs....?
There's not a "Good" tireshop on the planet that would plug a radial tire. Yes,
I've seen it done but I wouldn't allow it on my car. If you have a nail in your tire it should be patched which takes a little time, pluging is fast, easy and cheaper for the tireshop....and wrong! |
Thanks. Anyone else?

should be okay... those things are a bitttch to get out using your car key.
