New tires,
New tires,
Spring is around the corner and I need new summer tires for my 03 sedan
with 18 inch wheels. the car is on a coupe/Z suspension set up..I had the 245/45/18 Falken's but I thought the car was a tad too high, I was thinking of getting the 225/45/18 but saw that the 245/40/18 is also available..
Are there any advantages/disanvantages to either tire with regards to handling, ride, comfort and quickness off the line. Whenever I put on my 16
inch winters the car seems to be quicker and lighter when going from a stop.
Thanks

If you want a smaller sidewall, there will be more of a wheel gap. You want to stay in specs with your stock tire diameter though so your speedometer will be correct. PM me if you need any help.
