Can the rear wheel of a sports coupe...
Can the rear wheel of a sports coupe be used as a a front wheel?
My front wheel is pretty scratched up and I'm looking for a new wheel...someone has one that they are selling but it is for the rear.
Can I used it for my front?
It is a 18" G35 sports coupe rim

My answer is a maybe. You should be able to use it, since the specs are identical. Width, offset and etc. However if it will work, and I believe it will, with the the correct size tire. You'll need to remove the front bolt that goes into the rotor that prevents you from using the rear wheels on the front. (tire issue, not wheel). Let us know.

Since the G35 uses a staggered tire setup from the factory, they put the bolt there as a precautionary that people do not mixup the front/rears. It's not ideal to have a wider wheel/tire setup combo in the front of a RWD vehicle.

dont do it... if your going to put the rear wheel in the front... change both front wheels. You want the same wheels and tires that share the same axel. I would say ur handling and alignment would be thrown off.
that little screw is lame.... take that crap off. Had to take them off to install my wheels.

You can swap wheels from the rear to the front. All 4 wheels are the same size and offset: 18x8.0 with 30mm offset. Since the tires are staggered, you will need to have the tires dismounted and remounted to be switched ($$$). You might as well have them flipped from side to side at the same time since it won't add in anymore cost.
If you have another car or don't mind riding on the spare for a day of two, ou can get the wheel refinished. You just need to take it to a place like Wheels America. They charge $90-115 to refinish a wheel.
