What lug nuts to get for new wheels?

YES, I've done a search, just looking for some opinions.

I purchased a used set of wheels: HRE 446R
Front: 19X9.5 +22 Offset w/ 255/35 Pirelli
Rear: 19X10.5 +24 Offset w/ 285/30 Pirelli
They have a polished lip, and brushed aluminum center.

The actual wheels (Not on my car though)

I feel that the Lightweight Ray's Volks etc are too expensive, and that yet while having the miniscule weight savings, it comes with the cost of having a softer metal that makes it a lot easier for someone to steal the wheels.

Should I get long, Short, Open Ended, Closed?

Muteki or Gorilla in Chrome?
Who makes a good lock set?

Thanks for everyone's help and opinions.

mcgards are guaranteed against rusting, they are IMO the best chrome lugnuts you can get

I think I am going to go with the McGard. They are chrome, Lifetime warranty, and can get the 4 spline, and one lock for $77.75 shipped.

With those McGards.... how do you think they look on a rim? Is the "open ended" portion of the locking nut really that visible/distracting? I'd love to get a set of locking lugs, but they gotta look good on my new rims!! I just got a set of Polished Work Varianza T1Ss....

I have chrome McGards on my Work T1S's and I love them. I'll try to find/take a picture. I love how they don't chip or fade either.

I've had black Volk lugs before and the paint they use sucks. Mine chipped after taking them off and putting them on multiple times. I've also seen tons of red Volk lugs fade to pink. They're cool, lightweight, and JDM and all but I think I'll try a different brand if I go back to JDM ones.

Thats because they are anodized aluminum, durability is poor, but they are half the weight of steel

Yea, thats true they were hella light. But the McGards don't seem that much heavier.
