hmm, I'm looking to put replace the tires on my OEM 19's after S/C install.

What is the biggest I can go for maximum grip, but still be safe? Is stock dimensions really the best choice?

I'm trying to cheap out and not have to buy aftermarket wheels to provide decent enought traction with the added power.

Thx.

I'm trying to find out the same thing ^ ^ too. I'm not happy with the Nexen N3000 front tires Discount Tire installed for me last Friday. I'm trying to swap out for something better. I was told the Yokohama S.Drives are similar to the stock tire performance and feel and may lean toward those.

My question would be, which are better Falken 452 ((which everyone praises here)) or Yokohama S.Drive.

Johny, have you tried 245/35/19 for the front? That's what I have on there now. They ride about the same as stock 225/40/19 ((with the Nexens being louder of course...you hear more of the air whoooo sound when braking due to the V pattern))

Casey I saw those and declined before I read your post...how's the handling, comfort and noise compared to the stock potenzas?

I'm now on my 3rd set of front tires in 3 weeks!

The first (245/35/19) Nexen N3000 ones I didn't like too much so I had them swapped for (245/40/19) Falken 452 but then the drifting whoas began...

I had Discount Tire take the Falkens off and put back Nexen N3000 so my car would be stable again ((defective Falken tires I guess??))

got alignment done for safety confirmation

now I need the 2 back tires done ASAP. I'm also told that the Nexen aren't that good so I want to swap out for the best setup front ((before my 30 days is up @ Discount tire)) and purchase new tires for rear but do it right this time.

What do you guys recommend I do? I've been hearing good things about the Michillen Pilot Sport 2 tires and the Goodyears
