Need Help!!! Is A 3 Piece Wheel Going To "break" In My Town?

I got told that a 3 piece wheel in my town with crappy roads isnt worth the money bc it will easily bend and break...correct me if im wrong but i thought the advantage of a 3 piece wheel was to save weight and get a stronger wheel? no to mention better looks . any input gentlemen? thanks

I cast 1 piece wheel will be MORE likely to bend/break on a pothole than a forged 3 piece wheel

in the event that you do bend or ding the wheel it being 3 piece might save you some dough when it comes to repairs, whereas most 1 piece will be as good as trash

ok, i didnt think that getting a one piece wheel was "better". i dont think theyre talking about potholes, just Tulsa's differing road conditions and its hella bumpy and stuff

your concern is no different that a guy buying wheels in california or new york. everywhere you go, any city will have its parts of really bad streets to drive on. with any purchase, specially a 3 piece, you are usually extra careful when you drive in certain areas known to be "horrible" to our wheels. I have not many posts on here about damaged wheels due to bad streets. They are out there, but of quality was an issue, it would spread like wildfire. I think for a while Sevas had some wheels cracking and some people posted about it. Sevas got involved i think. Bottom line is, you know where to drive like a madman and where not to in your city. Happy driving.
