Maya DTM's

What does everyone think of the DTM's. I am looking at getting them for my sedan, probably in 19x 8.5 or 19x 9. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Re: Maya DTM's

i think the way you have them photochopped on the G, they represent about a 26" wheel.

Re: Maya DTM's

How about now? I was just being quick to photoshop them on. I made them slightly bigger this time from the stock wheels. I also lowered the car? What do you think?

Re: Maya DTM's

Yeah, I saw those on the G35 coupe. They look pretty good. I was just curious as to what people thought of them on the sedan. By the way, you did an awesome job on your photoshop SHL11111. By the way, do you think you could photoshop them on a G35 Sedan Pearl White? If not that fine. Thanks for the posts though.

Re: Maya DTM's

All the pictures of the DTM's on the coupe look great, but, my question is what does everyone think of them on the sedan?

Re: Maya DTM's

I don't know how they gonna look on a Sedan..Go for them. Me and my bro in law just got back from Alhambra CA D2 Technik, picked up his DTMs 20's for his 05 530i. After 3 mos of waiting and curiousity on how they gonna look like on his 5, all that wait is over and let me tell you something, his car looks TIGHT!! Bling Bling...

Re: Maya DTM's

It's worth it trust me. So many people have commented on them, stared at them, yelled out their windows as they are driving by and complete strangers just come up to you in parking lots and ask you about them. The wheels complement the car so well. Sometimes I think that they don't care about the car, just the wheels.

Re: Maya DTM's

I think that I am going with the 19" inch wheels. 19x8.5 with a +41 or +42 offset. Do you think the 19 are too small? or would the 20's slow it down to much? I want looks as well as performance. I've decided to get these wheels, however, not sure what size? What does everyone think? Thanks, Jon

Re: Maya DTM's

I haven't notice any difference with regard to speed. The wheels are light but I don't remember the exact weight. I remember asking the mechanic at the garage that fixed my tire puncture to weigh one of them and I believe he said around 28lbs for the rear but dont quote me on that.

The only difference that I notice with this wheel tire combo is that the steering is harder due to the larger width of the front tire. You realy feel every curve in the asphalt. The rear wheels spin less due to the larger width of the rear tire which is a good thing as this means that you are getting better traction.
