I think it's great that you're willing to help the other poster. However, if you put in "nightmare" and "iforged" in search on any car forum, you're going to get a lot of hits with a lot of people who have been less than satisfied with their experience with iforged. I've seen them on e46fanatics.com, clublexus.com, my350z.com, etc.

I'm sure that there are a lot of satisfied customers. But there are more than just a couple of isolated incidents regarding iforged's customer service and products.

 

Yeah, I've heard horror stories too. However, the group buy discount better make it all worth it. ;-)

i recently had a thread with Nightmare and iForged in the heading but it wasn't their fault. I F'ed up the finish on my wheels but after some intensive polishing it came back good as new. I know there have been some problems in the past with iForged but they are an expanding company and they just moved into a new building. I recently orderded my wheels and they came sooner then expected. I know some have had a hard time but I dunno maybe the hard times are over now that they restructured. Just a thought. These wheels rock. Group buy Away!!

My recent experience with iForged has been a very good one. Damen got me a great price and I called Vince once or twice to very politely inquire about the status of my order. The wheels arrived to my door fewer than 4 wheeks from the day I placed the order.

My wheels are 18x8 +40 and 18x9 +55 (sedan obviously).

i'm not saying that some have not had tough times with iforged. all i'm trying to do is get a good deal for some. i'll do my best to see that every gets there wheels and are happy. if you are having any doubts what so ever then order another wheel. i have no problem with that because i make no money what so ever on these wheels. and that's the truth! i'm not trying to come off like some a@@ or something, i just don't have time for the negative remarks. i'm trying to have my fellow g drivers looking good as they rolling down the roads. later.

 

You should have started the group buy at Christmas time so people could have their wheels by summer. I had to wait 11 weeks for mine. Kinda funny, it took 12 weeks to order and receive a car from Japan, and 11 weeks to make rims and ship them from California. Nice wheels but the worst customer service I have ever received. Vince you have have a lot to learn about customer service. Sorry to "Jack" the thread, but people should know what could happen....

*No disrespect to Damen on this. I think you are doing a great thing by helping other people out. I think I-Forged should put it in writing that there will be a 4 week delivery and if not they will ship the wheels for free.

 

i know personally how you feel my wheels took 10 weeks but, that was because i was one of the first to have a set of wheels from them with the brembos. they did take a while to make mine even though they are custom wheels. it's not like they are sitting on the shelves ready to ship. i must say once i got them i didn't think anymore about the time process. i was happy as i look at peoples faces and i was answering alot of questions at stop lights.
