New Tires...Kumho SPT?
New Tires...Kumho SPT?
I just bought a set of wheels from a member here, 19x8.5 with 30 offset. I'm looking to buy a set of 245-35-19 tires. I've done my research and found that Kumho Ecsta SPT is probably the best bang for the buck. Price is important for me and I'd like to spend under $200 each, if possible. However, I don't want to sacrifice too much on performance. Here is my list of importance if it means anything to you guys...
1. Price
2. Tread Life
3. Tire noise
4. Wet traction
Can anyone out there give me any reason NOT to go with the Kumho SPT's? Some others that I've seen and that are similar in price would be:
Falken FK452
Nitto NT555
Bridgestone Potenza RE750
Kumho Ecsta MX
Thanks in advance!

I'm mounting some Nitto NT555 in the next few days on 19" in the same size and I've heard they're great for the price, but mixed reviews in rain and definitely not an all-season tire.
Go to TireRack to read thousands of real reviews, they have an extensive database.
In that tire size, the Generals Exclaims UPT/UHT (can't remember for sure) have awesome reviews, tread wear, and performance.
The Sumimoto III from what I hear are hands down best bang for the buck for a maximum Summer tire.
