Lowered G35 Sedan with Coupe Wheels **Pics**
I lowered my sedan last monday using the Eibach Pro Kit Springs. Did the install at my buddies shop. As posted in many threads, the rears were pretty easy to do. But the fronts were a pain in the A$$. Took about 4 hours to do the install. I can't tell too much of a difference in ride quality, except there are some bumps on my way to work were I have spilled my mocha, which normally does not happen. Only a little spill not a big one on the console where the cup holders are. I can take turns quicker without the back end breaking loose. As far as I can tell I have no rubbing issues, taking turns, or going over speed bumps. It lowered the rears to where i have maybe 1 1/2 fingers worth of spacing between the tire and tire well, and the fronts to were I can stick 2 fingers between the tire and wheel well. Here are some pics.

I am running the stock coupe wheels setup. 225/45/18 fronts
245/45/18 rear. When these tires wear out I am going to run 245/45 all around so I can rotate them. Plus it should fill up a little more wheel gap in the front. :-)

I think the only thing it would affect would be the warranty of the shocks, or if something was damaged on the bottom of the car from scraping. They can't void anything else, maybe sway bar being cracked. They have to prove that lowering the car was the reason for the damage for them to void the warranty.

I think G is a car that you don't need to lower to look good. The stock one looks low enough. Unlike Acura 3.2CL, which looks floating in the air and needs lower to look more aggressive and sporty, G35 looks good the way it is stock in my opinion. The only thing I want to do to my G sedan is tint the back windows.

It looks a lot better than stock, but it still doesnt look quite right.
I think that the rear rubbers are too thick for the sedan. Looks like you might need for of a drop.

Have you tried going 245 45 18 all the way around yet. I know it hasn't been too long. I'm also looking to getting the eibachs pros since the drops only an inch. I'm running 245 45 18 all the way around .Theres not to much room left with the 45 so I want to keep the drop minimal. I like the 45 on the back of your car. I think it looks great. Has that drop worked ok with that size tire?
