Re: coupe rims on sedan

found some on ebay, but he claims they are 30mm offset

anyone know for sure if it's 35mm or 30mm?

is $800 a good price?

+30mm is correct. Look in the owners manual.

Re: coupe rims on sedan

i own a sedan, not a coupe, so can't look in owners man, or is it the same man?

i believe it's 30mm now, i'm amazed jedmonds doesn't rub with a 245/45 on the back of his sedan, but glad he doesn't...

i want to run 245/40, probably will rub in front though...

will getting the fender lips rolled be enough???

Re: coupe rims on sedan

the guy on ebay had 235/50 tires on his coupe rim on his sedan and they rubbed, that's why he's selling them, so how can his 235/50s run and jedmunds 245/45s not rub, that is the question... i think i'll stick to my wish list of 38mm GT1s...

Re: coupe rims on sedan

I have the staggered Coupe rim/tire setup on my Gsedan
225/45 fr
245/45 rr

They dont rub now but, Im going to be having the Eibach pro kit installed. I saw jedmonds ride with the same setup and Eibachs installed. The distance on my rears look almost the same as his dropped G? The fronts are obviously less distance on his. I dont think I will be able to do the drop with this tire setup without rubbing

Do you folks think 235/45 will still rub with the Eibachs installed?

Re: coupe rims on sedan

That may or may not actually rub, but I bet money that if you were to push the rear end of the car down far enough the fender would touch those tires.

Re: coupe rims on sedan

Thanks Rob_G35

Your right Zimbo, with the set up I have if I lower it, it will rub forsure in the back. Just seems odd to me that jdemonds G has the same setup and he lowered his G and has no issues rubbing. Our Gs look the same in the rear even though mine is not lowered.

Im going to take my cover over to Americas tire to get their opinion on the 235/45 setup I want.

Pics for Rob_G35

thanks and Happy Modin!
