So i'm finally considering a very small drop in the form of 350Z H-Techs but i have a slight concern with my wheels rubbing.

I have 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 +22 TE-37's with 255/35 and 285/30 tires.

Any body have any idea if i would need to roll the fenders? I would rather not, but will if necessary.

it will be better if you roll the fender...

it cant be worse...you know...

and + h-tech drop less than 1 inch so....

if you are going to roll fender, why dont you just get S-tech...

Roll em 285 tires always rub on lowered G's. I had 275's and went to a 285 and got them rolled because of the rubbing.

 

Yup....true that with 285's.

285's fit without a roll in the correct offset, I've done it. First, you should be running 285/35/19 instead of the 30 series, and yes, you'll probably need a roll

Redlude97 - Why 285/35 versus 285/30?

 

Reason being is that i don't want to spend too much and if i go with the S-Tech route, i'll need a camber kit for sure. So from what i've read on the boards, i can get back into spec if i do 350Z H-Techs. $600ish for rear tires isn't a walk in the park

 

Its closer to the OEM diameter which keeps the VDC and speedo/odometer happy.

 

dumb question what does rolling the fender doo anyway can a i get a detail information on that is that so tires won;t rub on car when its lowered?

 

it folds in the lip on the rear quarter panels so when the suspension compresses, you have more clearance to prevent rubbing

 

ahh i gotcha you so you would roll all corners then right

 

The front fenders are already pre rolled from the factory
