Tire Monitors

I'm running 18" G35 coupe wheels/ Pilot Sports on my M6 sedan, and have noticed an odd phenomenon with the tire pressure monitoring system. I run 35 psi all around (specified pressure for the Michelins) and all is well until I drive 40-50 miles at 70 mph+. At that point, I get a tire pressure warning light. When I recheck the pressures, all seems OK. Does the pressure warning system flag what it considers to be excessive pressure, since I assume that my tire pressures rise as the tire warms?

Re: Tire Monitors

I have a new coupe, and just experienced same condition.. Did you ever determine the cause of this? Please PM me with what you've found. Last thing I want to do to go back to the dealer...

Thx
