275/40/19 - Will It Work?

I have some rear tires i am trying to sell, and my buyer is not sure that they will fit the rears on his coupe without rubbing, etc. I think they can based on what i have read here. He has a stock setup, suspension wise.

More people that can chime in, the better, give me a yes or no!

Thanks

i know of 275/35/19 working on g's... not sure why you'd want a higher ratio, wouldnt that throw off your overall diameter (and therefore speed)??? i'm sure the experts will chime in... and you might want to ask that in the wheels/tires section as those experts are more likely to browse through that specific forum...

yes on a sedan 275/35 is the closest to the overall diameter, just under 1%. the 275/40 is above the 4% in diameter.
