Flipping asymmetric tires?

My G: 2006 6MT coupe w/ premium package
Front Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 225/40-19
Rear Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/40-19

These are uni-directional, staggered, AND asymmetric so my tires are shot on the outside and like new on the inside (after only 15k miles!). Even though you're not suppose to "flip" asymmetric tires, is there any harm? I don't race, and I care much more about tread life than being able to take a corner going 90mph.

Does flipping asymmetric tires just mean less performance or is it actually harmful to the car?

less performance and if you get caught in the rain it might not be fun...in the olden drift days they actually used to flip assymetrics if they were too grippy.

if you're concerned more about treadwear and less about performance seek out a higher treadware tire next time.

Thanks for the reply. I think I might just go ahead and replace them with the Kumho Ecsta SPTs.

The Potenzas came with the car.
