I picked up a set of g37 wheels off a member friend. I thought the g37 wheels would fit my 04 g35. But it dosen't fit. It didn't clear the brembo brakes. Is there any way to make it fit properly ????

 

maybe some 5mm or 10mm spacers

You'd want to run spacers anyways, so that they're not all sunken in. Prob more like 20mm fron 25mm rear.

 

Bumping an old thread. Just trying to find confirmation from knowledgeable wheel people here. I know that brembo equipped g35's came with the 18's that are +30 offset/front and +33 offset/rear. the G37 wheels are +43/front and +45 rears. I've been reading that g37 rims do not fit unless installed with spacers. I guess my question is, why wont they fit considering the g37 rims have a bigger offset? or am i completely wrong and they do fit?

 

I always thought G37 rims would clear brembos no problem, considering that G37s come with 14" brakes and akebono calipers bigger than brembos.

 

^i figured the same thing but some people have made me think otherwise. its hard to get a definitive answer though.
