255/35/18 on G35 18's

Hi all,
sorry if this is a repost somewhere, but i couldn't find anything on this.

Does anyone here run a 255/35 on their g35 18's? Wonder if this is a common thing, or its not recommended.

Thanks for your input!

If you check out The Tire Racks website, you can get an idea of what tire is similar to the stock Michelin Pilot Sports. The OEM diameters are 25.8 front, 26.8 rear, both on 8" OEM rims.

Using the new Pilot Sport 2 as a reference, the difference seems considerable.
The size you stated seems to need a 9" rim width, and is about 1.6" shorter than the stock rear size that comes with our cars. (closer to the front 225 size in tire height)

I'm not sure if that much of a difference will set off the VDC.

The rule of thumb is to stay within 3% of the original tire diameter.
