Wheel Paint Spots

Anybody seen anything like this? These are from OEM 18" from my G35XS sedan I picked up last week. Dealer is going "check them", but any background of this occur elsewhere or not would be much apprecated.

Yeah, that is what I figured too, and close up that is just what it looks like. There is even blistering where the paint looks like it is about to come off. Does anyone know if the primer used on these wheels is black? That will help support my case with the dealer if needed. Or any other info that may help??

Thanx!!

I looked at my wheels today to double check if I have any spots - I have one small spot, but you can tell something small, maybe a stone?, hit the wheel. Yours definitely looks like it wasn't primed right, or something is between the primer and the paint. Either of these should be taken care of by the dealership.
Really stress to them that you only had the car such a short time, this had to be happening for awhile. Good luck, and let us know what happens!

Success

Dealership came through and determined wheels had paint chipping from the factory. THey stripped and powder coated wheels. They look good, but surprised they did not replace wheel from factory. I guess infiniti reimburses dealership? Since they actaully outsourced the powder coating to a local shop. I am only curious if anyone knows how this works.

All in all I am pleased with dealers response in this instance.....
