I've gotten to know the car pretty well now and drifting and spinning is easy once you get the hang of it.
It's not a bad idea to learn, if you can do so safely.
Knowing how to get the car into a spin or drift is great, since it also teaches you how to get out of it.... which helps in everyday driving.
