Feeling vibration with Toyo T1R's no one knows cause...

hey i bought some Toyo T1R's to put on my stock 19's about 14,000 miles ago, and i have always felt a slight vibration which is significantly worse and more noticeable after the car has been sitting for a while. after driving it the tires seem to warm up, and the vibration dissipates quite a bit, but i can still feel it.

the vibration occurs about every 1 second **womp...womp...womp** and i can feel it through my seat up my back and everything.

anyway, i just wanna go back to the stock potenza's, so if anyone wants to take the tires off of me, let me know.

Toyo Proxes T1R

front = 245/35ZR19 93y

rear = 275/35zr19 100y

Infiniti requires that each tire and wheel combo have less than 7 pounds of radial force. Have the tires tested with Hunter 9700 radial force measurement machine.

All tires take a cold set depending on internal ply materials why radial force is measured IMMEDIATELY after 15 minutes of 60 mph driving. Even 5 minutes after slowing down and stopping tires begin to flat spot much worse in winter..............almost impossible to keep tires warm from car to machine.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radial_Force_Variation
http://www.hunter.com/pub/product/ba...159T/index.htm

Average cost per tire is $25-$35 to have measurements and more to remount and minimize.

Obvious it is impossible to perfectly match a tire cold and hot if internals change with temperature.

last time i took it to infiniti they wrote down, "extreme road force pressure above 25 lbs" i believe.

they also wrote something to the effect of "unusual runout"

they said i should take it back to nissan where i bought the tires, and they said that infiniti doesnt know what they are doing, and they told me the tires were on the wrong direction.

yeah, and the vibration is still there.

Experts know that Michelin has the lowest initial road force error and maintains that low number longer.

A racing tire is never tested for low vibration as it is assumed that buyer doesn't care as the tire will only be used on track.

just went to have them tested again with that 9700 machine, and the numbers are...

right front- 27 lbs road force
left front - 23 lbs road force
right rear - 8 lbs
left rear - 2 lbs

so i went to a toyo retailer and they said that with 6/32" and 15k miles on them, they would only knock off 25% from new toyos. woulda cost me $985 total to get them mounted and stuff. i aint paying that for funked toyo tires again.

so i talked to a parts manager, and he's gonna call me when they take the wheels and tires off a new G and ill just buy the whole set for little over a grand.
