My 18" wheel pics posted
Ok, I've updated my "RIDES" section with pics of the just installed 18x8" Mille Miglia Emotion SSL wheels and Bridgestone Pole Positon 245/45 tires. Comments are on the individual pics but overall the fit was very close and the wheel look is right for the G35 - stylish and modern, but not too flashy or garish IMO.
I'll report on the ride and handling aspects later.

I'm sure those pix don't do the car any justice. I'd love to see it in person. Nice rims!! I find that even 18's look kinda small compared to the car or else everyone just seems to pick wheels with the rim/lip around with the design inside. Those types of rims tend to make the wheel size look smaller than it's actually diameter.
Nice, non the less!!

Rumble,
You're right that the these wheels don't look like 18" because of the wheel lip. A "lipless" flush faced wheel would look larger of course, but be more easily damaged by curbs and the like. I just happen to like the polished lip look which really catches the eye when viewed from an angle. The taller profile tires (45 vs 40 series for ride & wheel protection) also diminish the wheel diameter visually when viewed from the side.
Driving observations and any clearance issues will be reported when the other 2 wheels/tires arrive.
