Well, with 8k miles on an auto.coupe, I got plenty of meet left, but after rebalancing and alignments, the tires still hum at highway speeds.

Has anyone found a way to deal with Goodyear and the junk RSA 17s they put on our cars? It is absolute bull.

If the factory could they would ship cars without tires and force new buyer to select something to put on somewhere else.

Tires always cause grief..........nobody is ever happy with what they choose..........the RSA is the low bidder in a upper middle category........good enough for the average uneducated [in automotive engineering] car buyer/driver.

It's not a $275 top of the line just a mass market tire to hold the car up and get it off the dealer lot.

My 17" OEM tires also "hum" on certain types of roads. But on most roads the noise is minimal.

I have 8k on mine and everything is okay so far.
