Hi everyone... I would like to get your recommendations on sway bars. Doing some preliminary searches I know there are Eibach and Nismo bars, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on these or other brands.

PS---love this site! I'm a newbie... everyone has been so helpful and nice... thanks!

Do a search for sway bars. I did one the other day and found about 25 threads in the last 6 months.
I believe most of them were in the Tech Forum and the majority involved Nismo S/Bars.

I love my NISMO's. My coupe now corners perfectly flat and didn't impact the ride at all. I highly recommend them.

IQ9, how much did you get the hotchki sways and where did you get them?

 

ha ha the hotchkis sways go from 250 to 300 and more. But one problem. They dont make alot of kits. I ordered my set back in March, I still havent gotten them yet. But they are supposed to be the best sways bars you could get for the G.

Do alot of finding and MAKE SURE the company has it.

I paid 329 with shipping and tax. They took 4 days to get. I ordered directly from Hotchkis-which is a mistake. They shipped them two days after I ordered them and them charged me more than I could have bought them for from Titan Motorsports. I am happy with the bars but not with the shipping of my bars.

i got my hotchkis bars at titanmotorsports.com

they were 250 shipped. these are the cheapest bars, and they offer the most adjustability...it's a no brainer.

 

OHH MAN I GOT THEM ON TODAY. I have coilovers also (JIC) and does it handle. I lost all that understeer i had before. Now i still have a little but not that much. And the funny thing is the rear is set to medium setting. Tonight im going to put the back on the hardest, and leave the front the same way.

thanks, but i'm still debating on Cusco, or Hotchkis. the hotchkis wouldn't dent my wallet much either. hmmm......

 

Hotchkis sway for me 250 shipped from titanmotorsports.com. Had it first at stiffest at front and medium rear bad setup as I learned. It gave the car a major push or understeer. I adjusted to softest on front and left the rear at medium a lot better handling now. It took me about an hour to intall the sways. Here is a pic before and after the install. Goodluck on your choice.
