Rota's a.k.a Repicla wheels= Garbage

So Rota wheels is knowed for cheap affordable repicla wheels. So today my Buddy and I where driving his Evo which he had 19x9.5 PF-45 wheels on 235 series tires. we where on the highway when all off a sudden we hit a pot hole and after the right passenger side wheel starts shaking. so we pulled over and check the tires for a ny bumps and it looks like the rims was cracked in three different place and inner lip was bent. I heard rumors of these wheels been cheap construction but daumm i did not know they where dat bad.

maybe if he didnt stretch a 235 tire on a 9.5" wheel it would have been a different story. And it doesnt help that you were on the highway hitting a pothole, that's quite a bit of force on the wheel. it definitely shouldnt crack in 3 places, but still.

I never had a problem with my Rota's.

Rotas are TRACK wheels.

Do NOT use them on the street.

I know plenty of guys that have used Rotas successfully, myself included.

you're running a 235 on a 9.5'' wheel errrrr
the accual wheel prob hit the pothole, thats gonna fvck up any wheel!

I abused the fvck out of my slipstreams and never had 1 bend or crack, even hit potholes at 100+

that would NOT happen from just hitting a curb no matter how cheap the wheels were, unless they were going at a high rate of speed!

It probably wouldn't have cracked in three places if it was a quality forged wheel like rays/volks, but your friend was asking for it with 35 series tires on a 9.5 rota wheel.

i don';t think that might be teh case.. he had them wheels on his wheels since 04 and neva took them out..and he uses them all year round on his car....and believe me he gets hella of a traction......but everybody knows they cheap constructed and anything that is a replica will be sure to be fvcked up.......
