I just purchased 350z track wheels and would like to paint them to match this picture.
How would the painter go about getting this chrome lip on the outside, would it be painted or metal with clear coat over top? Any suggestions would be greatly appretiated.

Polish the lip, mask and paint/powder coat.

Polish the lip down to metal then clear coat? Is this a common process? Will it be durable?
