I picked up some all-season tires for the front wheels 245/35/19 and hands down they look, drive, and sound 100x better than the OEM tire size. I love how they look and really think that the recommendations to get them was great. Now for the rear I can't decide between 255/40, 255/35, or 265/35.
I am installing Tein H-Tech springs for the 350Z so not much of a drop, and in addition to that I have installed 15mm front spacers and 20mm rear spacers.
Thanks!

+1 on 255/40. This will not mess up your speedo or TPMS....well, not as much as the other two you have listed.
play around with this, you will learn something

I agree that 255/40 would look good but okay here's my thinking. My front OEM tires are 225/40 and I went with 245/35, the original tire size sidewall is 3.54" and my new 245/35 tire sidewall is 3.38" so I decreased the sidewall of the car. Probably why the wheelgap looked a little bigger with the new tires. The overall diameter of the new front tires is decreased 0.34" with the new tires.
Now with the rear if I go with the 255/40 setup I'm INCREASING the sidewall and increasing the overall diameter. Going with the 255/35 setup my overall diameter is decreased like the front, but by 0.35" and the sidewall is decreased by 0.35".
Now if I go with the 255/40 setup my sidewall is increased 0.16" and overall diameter is increased 0.31" - that's my concern. The speedometer difference I'm not concerned with, 65 MPH vs. 63 MPH, etc.

I have 06 G35 Coupe 6MT with stock 19" rays
My Stock BridgeStones were done so I got some new tires. As a matter of fact I just came back from the shop after having them put on.
Went with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS
F 245/35/19
R 255/40/19
According my my own reseach this is the closest match to the stock tire size in the brand that I wanted. Also 255 is max for the 8.5 rear. I would have liked a 235 up front but this way I get best of both worlds, slight over steer but some stagger left.
So far the TMPS or VDC has not gone off but only 19 miles on the new tires.
They feel great. The sidewall looks big too due to the design of the tire and more tread left.
I would recommend this setup to anyone. I Will post more once I have had some experience on the new tires...
Note: Hoping the TPMS light stays off, since I don't wanna pay $50 at the stearship to have it reset.

your TPMS shouldn't go off. I've had that combo on since August with no issues. Many other members have had the same combo with no issues.Originally Posted by kasher_khan

Thanks for the post appreciate it, and I really still cannot make up my mind for the rear tires! I am either going with 255/40 or 255/35 but either way I don't want the sidewall too big because I really don't want the wheels to look smaller in the rear than they do in the front, if that makes sense. I might just go ahead with 255/35 and see how it looks. Originally Posted by kasher_khan

Do you think with the stock tires the front wheel looks bigger than the rear?

Yes, maybe I'm crazy. But because the sidewall on the rear is bigger to me the rear wheels look slightly smaller, but could just be me.Originally Posted by redlude97

I also went with those sizes. Falken's 255 40 19 rears, and 245 35 19 fronts. No issues at all and it feels better then stock tred....
