wheel touch-up paint?

wheel touch-up paint?

hey guys i had to get new tires last night and of course they scratched the hell out of the lug holes... is there touch up paint available for wheels?

No you have to go to your local supply store and try and match it. Good luck.

Why not make the tire store pay for a Wheel shop to fix them up, if they did any damage to them.

didn't know if it was just easier to do it myself

If it is just the lug holes it would be worth a try for sure.

I tried to do a small touch up repair on my Aftermarket wheels and after 5 tins of paint it still isn't right. Very hard to match colours.

the scratches arent too bad, so i might just get some silver touch up paint and try to do it myself... it not even really noticeable unless you get down and look at the wheels

just so annoying people can't do their job right

That is why I just bring tire places my wheels off the car. No lugs, no center caps, all they gotta do is mount the tires and balance.

That way, i put them on myself, and torque each lug in sequence with the right socket that clears the lugs.

I'm **** like that. I've always done tires like this by bringing the wheels only.
