I'm jealous Moog!!!! (smile) I wrote Vince an e-mail on Tues and asked if I could expect my wheels to ship this Friday. He still has not answered. This will be the 3rd Friday he is still waiting for one piece for the rears. Grrrrhhhhh....

the problem that vince is having is that his supplier for the 4" lips in on backorder. vince was suppose to have those lips since may. this is something like an aluminum shortage. he has plenty of 3.5" lips but, they already cut the wheel for a 4" lip. if they were to put the 3.5 lip on, the wheel would sit inside the fender well pretty bad. so if you order with a 4" lip, that's why it's taking so long. it shouldn't be too much longer though. let's hope anyway. i feel everyones pain, i'm waiting for mine to come back as well. but, mine are at the chromer. vince is going there tomorrow to see just what is going on with some of his orders that are over there. hopefully he'll get an answer tomorrow.

 

Yeah I don't have the Brembo's so I had a 4 inch lip on order. That would explain the delay I experienced. Just a few more days...we'll have a 20" swift crew!

Moog: So you're the lucky one!! (I'm hat'in) I ordered first, but you get yours before me. Grrrhhh....(Apr 8) You know I'm getting pissed!!! (ha-ha) Let's hope Vince is telling the truth about them being shipped. If so, we should be seeing you all dubbed up hopefully next week. (smile)

I think yours are taking longer because they have to get chromed. As far as vince, I've had no contact with him at all. I ordered through Avalon Racing. Paul from Avalon told me they shipped on Wednesday.

We should form a dubbed iForged crew on here. I think there are probably at leat 6-7 members already rolling on them here.

oh i know that's why they are taking longer. i'm being patient because i know i good they will look once they get here.

 

i ordered from Paul from Avalon end of May. and he said they were ready to be shipped this week, damn that was only like 4-5 weeks, i got 20s in chrome Evos. wonder why?? Maybe cuz they were 2 piece?

 

I ordered my 20" gold Swifts on April 20th, and mine are 2 piece also.

powdercoat/paint...not sure what iForged uses for their colored wheels, but not chromeish gold

It is my understanding that there colored wheels are actually painted. Mine have chips, they supposedly use the same paint shop that HRE uses. I personally don't think they were prepped properly because I have painted several sets of rims, including a set on my own truck, and never seen chips like I have on my aeros.
