Re: *pictures* Installed the JICs today..

I'll catch you online or PM you for the number. I haven't seen the car in a week and I am hoping it has settled a bit, I need to take it to get aligned but want to wait for the kinetix front/rear camber/control/traction arms to get here.

If anyone wants some JICs, shoot me a PM and I can definitely help get reasonable prices.

Perfect impression for you:

I take my mom on a test drive at the dealership when I was home for a week in New Jersey. She rode in the car, bone stock obviously, and commented on how smooth the ride and how surprised she was.

A month later, I now own a coupe and have since installed the JICs (settings at 2/4). She took a ride in it last night, not noticing it was lowered and nor did I tell her and she kept saying how smooth the ride was. I did a little spirited driving with her in the car too (sliding the ***-end out around a turn and chirping second), thank god for the door handles haha.

So, to sum it up, my mom couldn't even tell it was lowered.

Re: *pictures* Installed the JICs today..

so it seems that the only way to make the rears go lower is to take out the perch on the spring (after lowering the strut all the way down). I will go ahead and put the springs on right-side up this time around, as it seems a lot of 350z owners have put them on upside down like myself.

And I don't think you can do this with linear springs, only the progressives.

What car does your mom drive that she thinks your's lowered is soft? Then again in FL your on the flattest roads in the country.

330i.. i guess she is used to a "sport-tuned" suspension herself, before that she had a 95 rx-7 (fd woot woot) and a ford taurus in there somewhere; who knows.

florida roads are pretty damn nice.

Your mom is a bit on the sporty side of things. =)

Anyhow, I think you made a nice choice of the JIC's.

Now for some wheels that dont weight a ton. =)

Re: *pictures* Installed the JICs today..

Had JICs on my last car and you can't beat the adjustable bracket setup that saves spring travel. On top of the 16-way adjustability.

Ordered my custom 20" DPE's 4 weeks ago, but it will probably be another 4-6. First set in 20's they've done.

And mom makes some good choices in cars, she just doesn't keep going like she should haha..
