I say do them gunmetal. Worse case scenario, you dont like it, so then paint them orginal. Cheaper than getting new rims.

Question

to be honest all those negative comments in 350zdriver about the powder coating scared me , it feels like its a risk or something but itmight be the Z rims which seems to be really bad quality

is there some other people here that PC their 19 rays?
have you heard any bad experiences with g35 rims with Powder Coat?

would you be able to get a little better pics? i really want to paint mine as well, especially since someone managed to take a nice size chip out of the paint of my wheels all the way down to the black base coat (im guessing what that is)

Man i've been researching and decided to go with painting my rims.. Corvette wheels are painted, not powder coated. powder coating is brittle. My buddy is paint matching my black car and is going to do a high gloss coat. costing me $350....

Looks great! So who powder coated your rims & what temperature did they do it at? Hope everything continues working in tip-top shape!
