winter rims 235/50/18 all around on 6mt 04 coupe

Hi guys as the title says, im thinking of putting 235/50/18 all around on my mt6 04' coupe /w brembo. these were the only winter tires i could find that remotely matched that of the stock size and i am in a financial situation so they are the only ones I can afford.

What negative effects will it have on the car's handling and stopping performance. I figure it would still be better than all seasons in 6" of snow that I am getting here in vancouver, canada.

Thanks

Not a very good idea. The 235/50 fronts will be 1.3" taller than the OEM's, and the rears will be .6" taller. You will likely be activating VDC frequently due to the reversing of the ratio (the fronts are supposed to be about .7" shorter than rears.). I would keep looking.
