Possibility of Rotor Upgrade Kit?

I would post this in "Brakes/Wheels/ect" forum, but it's like a ghost town in there and I feel like I may get a better answer here.

I know that DJGCue has the Endless front rotor kit on his car, but they don't look any bigger to me, and there is only one picture of them.

I could obviously get a machine shop to machine some caliper extensions and just buy bigger rotors and hats, but that will be a long and tedious process as I have done it before on my other car. I know the likely hood of Brembo coming out with just a rotor upgrade may not be in question, but I wonder if anyone else might?

Lastly, some of you may think 12.6" rotors (i think..) are big enough, and I agree behind the stock 18" they are. However, I am going to have a lot more room in a couple weeks and want to fill it with some 345-365mm rotors..

thanks for any help,

jason

try Project U (mew), they have a 355x22mm, 2-piece rotor with 6-piston calipers, teflon brake lines, caliper brackets and brake pads. its definitely different and Top Shelf JDM.

Re: Possibility of Rotor Upgrade Kit?

Yeah I am definitely not interested in going the route of all new calipers, especially when these are 4-piston and big enough to house some 14"+ rotors. Price is also a big factor there.

Thanks for the help so far and hopefully some more people will venture into this part of the forum and add some insight.

Re: Possibility of Rotor Upgrade Kit?

First of all. ur ride is LOW!!!!!

Second. There are lots of upgrade kits out there that can get 14" rotors in their 6 pod calliper. So.....just search out there. There is Endless, Brembo, Stop Tech, Rotora, and Wilwood.

So.....those are ur choices i think. Whats the price? most kits from front is about 2K ish. I think Stop Tech is the lowest price out of these that i have listed.

he doesn't want a brake kit. He just wants to use the stock caliper on a bigger rotor.

as far as i can tell these are simply oem size and then slotted or drilled, correct?

i actually want the 355mm+ rotor size without replacing the entire caliper. i am not sure what exactly to or how to go about even talking to a company to make something. i know AEM does a lot of rotor upgrades for hondas and such, but not sure if they would have interest in doing a g35 set.

thanks for all the help.. still kind of lost i guess.
