Rota Grid (18x9.5 +15) test fit pictures

not here to start a war between Rota vs Japan or w/e, but for those of you interested, i have some preliminary test shots

car is at stock ride height (coilovers are in the air somewhere, while my control arms are... hell i have no idea i havent gottena tracking number yet =[)...

beyond that, tires are 235 and 245/40.

as the car sits completely stock, the fronts peak out a bit, but i'll change that after i can get an alignment. the rears don't peak out so much, so as funds arrive (and as debt decreases... .. .) i may try like a 10 mm spacer in the rear, but we'll see what happens...

anyways, big ups to Zoeb and Dan at Wheeldude for putting up with my wheel and tire decision. if you want the same wheels, or a different set of lc or rota wheels, just click hit em up on the forums

just curious as to why you went with such small tires? You could have easily gone with 275/35's in the rear. Those are the exact wheels i want for my sedan, same offset and tire sizes.

yeah, i was going to go with 275's all around, but decided to try something a little different. price was part of the factor, but after seeing an s14 with the same wheels with 225 tires, i wondered how it'd look on my car, so... i got 245/235. i'll probably go larger and larger on tires as they need replacing.

the whole 'agressive stretched tire' thing does appeal to me, but i know its a phase that won't last long for me since i get careless often.

Looks awesome... love those wheels!!!

I assume no fender rolling or shaving has taken place right? If not, then any issues with rubbing when doing a U-Turn (front wheels) or bumps while riding on stock suspension set up?

no rubbing at all, but its not dumped super low. on stock suspension there were no issues at all.
