Giovannas for G's
Re: Giovannas for G's
those will definitely set the car off, look really good, same as the Foose wheels.

Re: Giovannas for G's
heh, moding is all about personal preference in the end. I don't think he's worried about weight issues. Giovannas are heavy wheels and not meant for the racer or speed seeker. They are more for the look and letting everyone know you''ve attained big baller status. (Rappers insert your comments here)

Re: Giovannas for G's
Ya I want a classy lookin g-ride to cruise around town, still goin to get intake and some other little things to make it a lil better and offset the weight. I dont need a fast car really, its good enough. Gas is too much: $2.20/gal here
Re: Giovannas for G's
He asked what everyone thinks....and I responded. I don't care for them, they're too flashy for my tastes. I understand what modding is.

I like the Giovanna line of wheels, and I think the genoa is a great looking wheel for the G......they are a bit pricy, but I think they are a quality wheel......If you like them, get them....its your dough.

You know the more I look at those Cassinos the more they are growing on me. I like the smooth curved lip and the "canted" spokes are original.

Re: Giovannas for G's
i don't know if you are interested, but i once had giovanna corsicas (older rim) in chrome mounted on dunlop fm901 tires (good tires, 65% tread left)... they are 5 X 114.3 and 5 X 112 dual lug (lugs hidden)... i'll sell them to you for really cheap if you are interested... 400 with tires (i really really really need the money (they aren't damaged or stolen... hehe) ... student loans and cc bills... just graduated college)...
the wheels have never been curbed or dented, but have fineline scratches from cleaning etc etc.
anyway... they do weigh a bit... but i ended up switching to volk sf winnings in 19" when i started really modifying the car...
also, they are +48mm offset, and i had them on the car with tein high techs with no rubbing problems, and could have lowered more with no rubbing. the tires are 235/35's.
i'm in southern california... los angeles + san diego area... let me know if you are interested... i *think i can dig up a picture of them from an old meet thread. thanks!

Re: Giovannas for G's
hey, well I just got giovannas for my G, I went witht he GFG 1-5 line at a 19x10 setup. The 20's looked kinda dumb, I had seen them at a show before and they just looked too big, and they are also 3,200 dollars more expensive. I went with the 19x10 for a great price with the new eagle f1 gs-d3 tires, a 255 all around i believe it was. Here are some pics of the wheel, my wheels come in next week so ill get some pics up very soon!
