Powder coated OEM 19"

I've seen some people post about this. I just got it done. Don't know if I want to mount them or sell them.

Sell those, what the hell is there sparkle in them for? Also they powdercoated over the curb rash? I would have gotten that fixed before having Mr. T powder coat my wheels.

In natural light, there isn't so much gold to them, it's from the flash on my camera. For the most part you can't tell there is any of the sparkle. They were curbed pretty bad and that is the only spot on any of them that you can tell.

Did you sand down the curb rash prior to PC?

The powder coat place did sand them down, or at least claimed to. You can't tell except in the one place pictured. Next time I get some powder coating done, I am going to sand it down myself. Also I think next time I will have them done in plain gloss black and try to get the lip done in a metallic red. This was my first time with powder coating, and I got the rims from a guy who thought they were junked.

Your powdercoating shop should have sand blasted the wheels. I just got mine back this week and they look great IMO. Before I took them in I sanded down the curb rash so it was nice and smooth. And trust me, there was some rash there before. You can't even tell now. Here's the link to mine,

No, I'm going there next though. I went to Tulsa Powdercoating. They did an excellent job but they don't have much of a color selection. Fortunately, I love the color of this first set.

BA would have done your wheels for $45 each!

I don't know, bro. Not really feeling them. I would have to see them on the car or in person. Black would have been the way to go.
