245/45/18 tires for 05 18inch sports rim
245/45/18 tires for 05 18inch sports rim
Hi all,
I currently have Avon M550 (245/45/18) on the 18inch sports rim (7.5 inch wide). My car is not lowered thus I perfer 245/45/18 vs 235/45/18 to close up a little of the fender gap. My directional Avon tires will need to be replaced soon and will probably look for ultra high performance (NON DIRECTIONAL) all seasons to replace them at a decent price. Been eyeing on Kuhmo Ecsta ASX but from the tirerack.com website it doesn't provide enough spec to say if it fits on the 7.5 wide 18 inch rim.
Is anyone running this tire on their 18 inch sports rim? Or any other good tires of that size?
Thanks...

I run a 03 sedan on a coupe suspension with the same wheels and tried some
245/45/18 and the car IMHO was too high, so switched out to 225/45/18
and the car sits lower to my liking, I would actually like to try 245/40/18
but I'm guessing the tire would be too wide for the 7 1/2 wheel.

I had the Falkens, really sticky but an the inner wear out.. I guess
because of the suspension so now I just change the tires from the wheels
to wear them out evenly, my new ones are also Falken 452
