Is there a significant difference between getting Volk GT-C's at 20 x 8.5 / 20 x 9.5 and 20 x 9.5 / 20 x 10.5 for my coupe?

only in weight. i wouldn't say it's a significant weight difference, but they differ. hope this helps. as far as looks, i'd go with the second set up. if performance is a main concern, i'd hit up the first set up.

Well I went with a 20x8.5 20x9.5 I had a 20x10 on order but after thinking about it why go with a 10 when Im going to have the same size lip in the rear(3.5) So I changed it. The tire will also fit better and give the rim more protection.

Thats reassuring. I ordered some 20 x 9.5/10.5 GT-C's from a friend. He takes my car puts my rims on and brings it back and they're actually 20 x 8.5/9.5. It was cheaper but I was just wondering if I was missing out on any extra lip size. I probably am though when it comes to a set up Volk's.

i would go with the 10.5s. it isnt that much more money and the rear lip is huge.

i kinda regret getting 8.5 /9.5

C this is what I dont get. Why do people think you have to have a 10.5 to have a big lip? My 9.5 rear has a 3.5

it depends on the offset of the rim, i know volk wheels the 10.5 have bigger lip most of the time.

Do you have brembo's? If so 3.5 is the biggest lip you can have. Like I said before I have a 9.5 inch rear and a 3.5 lip.

What size of tires you put on the 9.5?

Not sure of the offset. I guess some wheel makers like to keep that on the DL.
I have a 275/30/20 in the rear.

My so-called friend jacked that up to. He put 275/30/20.
