it was never stated that he couldn't afford Volks just that he liked the cheap rims he showed and wanted opinions of. I am of the opinion that they are hideously ugly. He then compared those same cheap rims to mine. The difference between the 2 is great in many catagories, I believe, and stated so with pictures to back it up, followed by 2 links to Twilight Blue G's with different rims, etc. to get a better idea of selection. I dont think it was ever stated that he HAD to get Volks.

Then, why come into a forum of folks you don't know and start a thread with a title of "Opinions about these rims" if you dont wan't them?

To OP: I'm glad you were talked out of those. Here's another thread of rims to look at to get more of an idea.

Yes, you do. Its the difference in a great looking, long lasting rim and a busted wheel.

Its a good look however it's not such a great look with just stock calipers (or BBK), imho. Work VS-XX and Volk Winnings are a much better look (other companies make this style but I'm not familiar as to who or what they would be).

You could probably get a set of 5 spoke Nismos for a decent price.

You should care. Wheels are the only things keeping you from the asphalt, so buying low quality wheels puts you and your passengers at risk every time you drive. Don't sacrifice safety and performance just for the sake of having aftermarket wheels.
