How in the world does any Volk wheel look cheap? They are probably about one of the highest quality wheel out there. Ever seen it in real life? The details in them are impecable.

i have to agree that although i do not like ALL volks (i dont like any wheels that arent 5 spoke for some reason), no volks look cheap.

Actually only you seem to think they look cheap and while I don't want to "cast" your Axis wheels in a bad light, I wouldn't say they look as nice as Volk GT-7's.
