Lowering Question?

A because you lower your car does i mean you need a camber kit for your car? I just ordered my Tein S tech springs and i wanted to know if i needed a camber kit to keep from prefature tire wear.

Re: Lowering Question?

The answer is yes. That extra half inch drop is gonna cost ya big bucks!!!! Not worth it IMHO.

Re: Lowering Question?

gump driver the tein s.techs are 1.2 drop in front and 0.9 in the rear, thats a slight drop and most ppl do fine w/o camber adjusments or alignment, dont worry, you'll be fine, now if you go coilovers and decide to drop your car 2 or more inches, which is gettin extreme then yes you will, but the s.techs no need, you'll be fine..

Re: Lowering Question?

Gump, there are mixed opinions from everyone about this. Some people have driven 5k miles dropped with Stech's and some over 10k miles with no tire wear prob's. I didnt bother cause its extra money and I havent noticed any pre-mature tire wear and yes im driving it very hard!! Just measure if your drop is effecting the tires to decide, you dont necessarily "need" it to drop a car. Martin

Re: Lowering Question?

I've had my s-techs since last September I have appx. 8K miles on it. I don't have any problems with my tires whatsoever. Just get it aligned they should be able to get it back close to factory settings. Some people are just over reacting on this "drop issue".
