Powdercoating Wheels - How do you remove Rivets/Studs??

I want to remove the rivets/studs on my MRR GT1's. Can this be done or are they glued in? I'm asking because I plan to powder coat my hyper silvers rims to flat black, including the lip....I want to keep the center cap the silver/chrome color and chrome the rivets and flat black on the rest....but can the rivets be removed?? Figured it'll look good with my DG coupe....here's a pic of them on the car now.

Dont want to wind up breaking them off by mistake....anyone have any experience with this?? Thanks!

Nevermind - they arent real rivets, just pressure tapped in - but they come right out with a little pressure, and they arent plastic, unlike the Sevas studs.

So now to take them out and get them chrome plated....80 studs!

Looks good man. I have some flat black powdercoated wheels with a chrome lip. I want to get the chrome lip off, I know that it is not part of the wheel. How did you get your rivers off exactly? And if they aren't pressure rivets, what kind of bit would I need to get them off?

It turns out they were pressure rivets. I used a standard metric tool and they twisted right off. But be very careful when putting them back on. You'll have to lightly tap them back in....and these bent very easily, and if that happens then the rivet won't stay in the socket. I wound up calling the company directly and they sent me 20 rivets, for $25 shipped. I only needed two that fell off, none came out after that.
