why is the center peice cast and not forged like other Volk wheels. if your paying >2k for rims its kinda expected to be fully forged.

does most of the strength in a forged wheel come from the outer piece?

The hoop is where you're going to need the strength right? The ability to withstand potholes and the like doesn't really concern the spoke portion of a wheel for the most part.

I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but 2K is cheap for wheels. I believe only the TE, SF, & LE series is forged? (well and obviously the mag series)

yeah i dont think of 2k as being that expensive or cheap for wheels. Thats a medium level price. Hell if i were getting 18's i could probably have them on my g with pilot sports mounted on em rihgt now.... the way i figure it is.... i have enough money for volks righ tnow.... just not the tires lol.

2004 Black on Black g coupe 6spd.... aluminum pedals, clear corners, z tube, and pop charger. soon to have 19" volk gt-c's and PIAA xtreme whites in the clearance and corners
