Tein Basics installed (PIX)

I finally got my Tein Basics installed at Street Image in Baldwin Park, CA. This is a very good shop, and i'm happy to say I've found a shop that i'll be turning to from now on. Eric is very professional, and a perfectionist when it comes to installs, and they have a lot of experience with 350Z's and G35's. Jeff (bobowah) also provided VERY competitive pricing. The install took about 1 1/2 hours, and the kinetix camber arms took a little bit of TLC to fit right. The rear is dropped to the maximum, but will still settle. After all of the components settle, i'll be getting a final adjusement, and an alignment to get my camber straightened out. Here are some pictures to get an idea of how low they go.The ride was somewhat stiffer but in a very good way, feels very tuned and not sloppy at all. I am extremely happy with this kit. Now I just can't wait for them to settle so I can make all the final adjustments

Re: Tein Basics installed (PIX)

Thanks again to Street Image for the install, the professionalism and the great prices. I HIGHLY reccommend this shop to all you so. cal guys out there looking for a reputable shop to get any work done. When I went to visit, they were working on a Twin turbo 350z, and another twin turbo 350z was parked right outside ( another car that they just finished.)

Re: Tein Basics installed (PIX)

Wow, looks pretty good. Are you doing the alignment with them also? I also see you got rid of your ADR's and slapped on some LE-37's, congrats =)

Re: Tein Basics installed (PIX)

hey a2ncharm23, I seen you driving on Amar near Mt. Sac. You were going the opposite direction. I made a u-turn near the park, and tried catching up to you, but just made another u-turn near Nogales. I wanted to check out your exhaust system.

Re: Tein Basics installed (PIX)

I'll be getting an alignment as soon as the coilovers settle, yep i got LE's in place of the ADR's thanks for noticing. Sherwin i knew that was you, I saw your car and noticed the wheels. I have the SP2 you can check it out and hear it wherever/whenever our next meet is.

Re: Tein Basics installed (PIX)

cool cool.
I tried to chase you down, but there was no U-turn and I just passed Lemon Ave. I wanted to check your car out. We'll meet again at the next meet. =)

Re: Tein Basics installed (PIX)

why get an alignment when you have coilovers? isnt the point of having em is so you can adjust em? it would be expensive to get an alignment everytime you raise your car up or lower it...
