With the new 19's coming on the new G do you guys think the 04 18's will be worth as much? I was going to keep mine but after giving it some thought I might just have to sell em while they are going for top $$ and in a year or so buy some 19in oem take offs. What do you guys think?

 

i think you ought to keep them for about a year, until the new ones come out, then sell me yours for bottom dollar, now that sounds like a plan, since ive already sold mine, im might need some. jk. you might want to keep them just in case, i regret selling mine.

i have had thots about the same thing. I am going to get rid of mine as soon as i get my volks. The day my volks ship out is the day my rims go up on ebay.

What if...

What if the new 19's are just ok? I haven't seen them, but can't help but wonder. Will they still make/sell the 18" wheels we have on our G's? If not, and the 19's are just average, then maybe the 18" rims will become more expensive in the aftermarket.

My guess is the 19's will resemble the E46 M3's 19" wheels, which were copied by Acura's 18" A-Spec wheels for the TL. Just a dumb guess.

I'm keeping mine and when it comes time to sell or trade the G, the stocks go back on and the aftermarket wheels go for sale on ebay. A dealer gives you what the book says, they don't care if it's got aftermarket wheels. I'll get more money for my aftermarket wheel than I will my stockers.

To try and answer a few questions. I don't know what the new 19s will look like eather. As far as the current 18s go, they will still be offered on the base leather coupe as the Tire and Wheel Handling package. The new 19s are not optional on any model, they will be standard on both sport model Coupes.

As far as selling your current 18s, I did that about a year ago to a "Z" owner, when I upgraded to 18" Nismos. I have no regrets over the sale.
