How to ship wheels?

Can they be shipped in its original box and nothing more? Or do they need extra padding?

There isn't much room for extra padding. Maybe a couple of garbage bags layered beneath and above the wheels? And some around the corners?

yeah I'll put extra padding..go to any tires shop that sell rims and ask them and see if they have extra padding that came with some of their rims..they'll be more than happy to give them to you for free..that's how I got all the boxes and padding..why pay extra for something some else is going to throw away...
