I hear ya....... but it is only trim tape, and you can remove easily.

Maybe.....but I have a Black car....it is not like I can let it go and it will still look clean like white or silver.
So if I gotta clean it anyway.....I might as well clean the wheels.
They are not nearly as bad as some of the older mesh wheels like my BMW factory's with the tiny holes.
