Uneven and Fast Tire Wear

Hey guys my g35 coupe has 19" rims and dropped with tein s tech springs and for some reason on the left rear wheel while i drive the outside of the tire is rubbing onto the body and getting worn out on the top outside corner of the tire...
on top of it
my tires seem to wear out unevenly and only seem to get 10-12K miles per set on the rear...
what can i do to fix this.. could it be my shocks on the outer wear?
and is that amount of miles normal on the car?
my current tires are Nitto Neo-Gens..

Thanks for all the help in advance...

Welcome to a NOOB nightmare....=(

So apparently you installed Tein S-Techs and drove off thinking everything would be alright? Any time you lower a G35 you need to install toe adjusters for the rear and adjustable a-arms on the front....Oh yea also have a 4 wheel alignment done. Now you'll need all of the above and new tires, this is gonna be costly.... Go to our MARKETPLACE under vendor then suspension, find Mike @ ART and order what you need to bring your alignment back to OEM specs....adjustable a-arms and rear toe adjusters. Good Luck!

It sounds like excessive toe. Unless the op cares about camber, the front toe is already adjustable and should be sufficient depending on how aggressive or conservative his alignment is.

With a slight drop, you won't really need a front toe adjusting kit because front toe is always a bit adjustable already from the factory. Hell, I'm dropped pretty low and I still can adjust my front toe just fine without a arms.

If you don't care about camber as much, then it isn't a big deal. But I'd be more concerned about the rear toe.

so if i was to get a alignment that would correct the rear toe?? if not then i would have to opt for the toe adjusters for the rear?? also would the camber be really bad on the H-tech? whats are you lowered on?

Alignment is critical with our G35s since there is no adjustment on the front the only way to bring it back to OEM specs is with adjustable a-arms. Have you noticed the price of new tires recently? I paid $400+ each for my new Michelin PS2, getting your alignment correct is much cheaper than spending $1600 a year for new tires....ya think?

^like dofu said i wouldnt need front a-arms cause H-Tech for the G35 isnt really gonna lower the car that much for me to notice bad camber wear...he was telling me to worry bout the rear toe but i was thinking would i really need it cause ppl saying you only need it if you go lower then 1"

Bottom line, if you're worried about premature wear and tear on the tires, get toe adjustment kits. If you can't live with uneven wear, then get camber kits.
