You are absolutely correct they don't make the S-Drive in a 225/40 but most of us don't like running those smaller 225s on our front ends so we run the 245/35s which allow our coupes to handle better. TireRack has the S-Drives rated as the 3rd best high performance tire available slightly behind Michelin's and Goodyears....not by much....both my neighbors are using them without any issues.

i agree, if you really want the sdrives, go with the wider tires. better handling and you get the tires you originally wanted. but i do love my hankook v12s

 

I have Nitto Invo

275/35/18 and 295/35/18

And they have great traction in rain, much more than all season tires I had before.

i was looking at this exact same tire on tires-easy but i noticed that the speed rating was only up to 106mph on the 255's....btw do you have the OEM 19's?

i think that might have been a typo cause i see that tire rated as 100Y which means it supports 1764lbs and 186mph.

and yes, i have stock 19" rays

 

so what size do you have in the rear?

i have the nitto invos 245/40/19 and 275/35/19, i dont know what everyone else is saying here, but they're great in rain, they grip well regardless, but of course, they're best when its nice out.

 

do those sizes set off any dash lights at all?
