You are absolutely correct they don't make the S-Drive in a 225/40 but most of us don't like running those smaller 225s on our front ends so we run the 245/35s which allow our coupes to handle better. TireRack has the S-Drives rated as the 3rd best high performance tire available slightly behind Michelin's and Goodyears....not by much....both my neighbors are using them without any issues.

i was looking at this exact same tire on tires-easy but i noticed that the speed rating was only up to 106mph on the 255's....btw do you have the OEM 19's?
